I picked up a Pascal Janin PI-1X4 board for Buck Rogers and installed it and am getting a number of coil fails. The first coil test fails so it won't boot further. Says the coil is stuck on. The flippers and pop bumpers are working but most other coil tests fail stating they are stuck on. The coils are all in great shape and wiring and switches seem ok. The failing coils are the Outhole, playfield outhole, knocker, and both target banks. I am not sure what I should try from here. Does anyone have a solid order of things I can work through? Are some of the diagnostics available on the Pascal board helpful to do more diagnostics on how to resolve? I am new to repairs so start from the very beginning. Let me know if you want any pics.

This game had a power issue was blowing boards before. Maybe diodes? It's interesting, all the board controlled coils seem to be working properly (pop bumpers/flippers/slings) but the solenoid list that aren't board controlled are messed (except the tens/hundreds/thousands). It isn't the board, just need to figure out what to do first here.

Ok thanks, I guess if one connection is off it could cascade causing more failures and locks. I may check that.
