My machine has been hacked a bit and it seems the free play has stopped working - usually.
The credit reel always shows 1 - never adds and never subtracts. The start button only works after I flick the coin wire inside the machine - it doesnt move the credit reel but does start the game.

I have tried to short the two contacts as noted in the FAQ but that didnt work.

Any help on this issue?
Schematics available in other thread or pieces posted that are required.

Solved the zero pos switch wasnt quite closed..I added some clips to ensure it stays closed. Now if I could just get a decagon part the machine will me complete and whole.

Found out the dude before me removed pieces from the credit wheel that makes it add credits. The solenoid fires, but there is nothing mechanical to move the wheel. Going to search the internet for a pic to see what was removed. The knocker fires so atleast there is that gratification.

Thanks - I posted a new thread on this topic .. but question was .. is it the spring that makes it spin then? How do I crank it up tighter then - since mine doesnt spin when the solenoid releases that arm against the notched wheel.

Just closing this off as fixed .. some WD40 on the one shoulder pin .. seen above with the slot.
