I’m having a problem getting my Gottlieb Big Shot working. I had a technician come out to get it working and he got it going to a point, acts like it is ready to play but there is no power to the playfield after it finishes the startup. No flippers or any of the targets are energized. I also cannot get the game to start using the credit button, I have to manually trigger the start relay to get it going. Any help would be appreciated.

Jones plugs clean and well-seated? Or this anti-cheat sw. leading into S?

If the Replay Button doesn't activate the Replay Button (V) relay, Inspect and diagnose this circuit with Alligator clip jumper wires

Update, I’ve gone through the suggestions to no avail. Still no power to play field. It completes the startup sequence, kicks the ball out, resets the score reels and then nothing.

Did you check the fuses?

Update I traced the problem to the tilt hold relay, I’m not sure what the normal switch position is for the three switches on the relay. Can someone take a picture of what it’s supposed to look like?

For a switch to work 3 things are necessary:
1) When open, there should be a small space between the contact points (duh)
2) When closing, the long blade's contact point should push the short blade's contact point enough to move the short blade
3) The contact points should be clean, which they usually will be if #2 is happening

If by "three switches on the relay" you mean a make/break switch; One switch will be closed while the other side is open. When you press the armature with your finger the closed side will open and the open side will close. If you find any switch that doesn't change state (make/break or otherwise) after you press it, you've found your problem.

Got the game to start and play have some issues with drop targets, but nothing some cleaning and adjustments won’t fix. The problem I’m having is that on both player 1 and 2 the 10000 reels will jump one to five times randomly after hitting some of the targets in the game. I can’t figure out what would cause that. Anyone have some ideas?

I think it has to do with the score reels but im not sure what to look for. I checked the maroon- white wire on both player 1 and 2 score reels and everything looks good with the wires and connections. I don’t know what else to look for
