Many times during play when the auger attempts to lift the ball the ball gets jammed and stops the auger. It's getting stuck between the edge of the auger and the metal post. I quickly turn the machine off to keep from burning up the motor. I bought a new auger hoping it would fix the problem but no luck. Has anyone dealt with /fixed this issue and can share a solution? I have spent nearly 4 hours this evening taking the entire unit apart and trying to adjust with no luck. Could it have the wrong size pinballs? I believe they are 1 1/16 size balls. I do not have a manual, not sure it would tell me what size balls I would need anyway.

I'm afraid to play the game because I don't want to burn up the motor as I've been told that its nearly impossible to find another and there is no solution for replacement. Thanks for any advice...

Good luck. Big House is a game that doesn't show up too often, so I doubt too many people have a lot of experience with it.

1 1/16 is indeed the correct ball size. Maybe the ball guide around the auger is warped? Or perhaps the motor itself is dirty and needs a bit of cleaning to free itself up.
