Hi folks.

So, I'm trying to restore a Hi Dolly back to working order. Few issues, but I'll start with these 2 question to hopefully rule out anything stupid on my part:

The easy question (I hope) is what is the reset position for the ball counter, is it one before the first rivet as per this pic below, or should it start on the first rivet (blue circle)?

Second question, is I do not see these resistors anywhere physically in the game, (a) would that make a difference and (b) if so, anyone got a picture of where they go? Perhaps Darcy may be able to help me again?

Ah. Yes. Thank you weeze and currieddog found the resistors. Good. Also after a bit of research I found that stepper is correct, ie start position is indeed one before first rivet...so now have to figure out why it’s not doing doing first pulse at startup to get to rivet 1. Stay tuned...

Yep, HowardR I am. I found a couple of things, but will start a new thread as the questions in this post have been answered.

I also found a broken part in the stepper so off to the Parts Needed

Ah good point! I found them where you and weeze said, behind the disk with the rivets, two small gray oblong resistors!

Sort of here (I re-used my photo, being lazy)
