    On the B-7760 score motor, how does the rotor come in contact with the rotor shaft? When the armature is energized, is the rotor supposed to pull upward to engage the rotor shaft?

    Got it. I replaced the worn fiber gear and during re-assembly, I placed the 2 spacers on top of the armature instead of on the bottom. Got a perfect motor now with minimal cost.
