Photo op for a duo. Double the fun.

(I've still got some bulb sockets to address on one of them... it's always something!)

Assuming one is your keeper, which one, and why?

The one on the left looks the nicest!

I thought so too.

#5 9 years ago

i've sent you a message !

cheers, Ron

Wish I lived closer so I could help you quit seeing double

#7 9 years ago

original coin doors too!!

#8 9 years ago

You have two, I can't find one!

#9 9 years ago

Dirt has a knack for digging up those hard to find games. He should start a service.

The one on the left is the keeper. I wanted to finish them both before deciding, and I just finished the one on the left this weekend finally. It edges out by a bit, but both are nice. These are the third and fourth I've had, and I think I'm done upgrading.

Now I get to pick another project. Joy.

I'm getting an Atlantis that has a nice playfield and backglass only it is in the wrong cabinet or for some unknown reason has the wrong art on it. I can make stencils, but I need a good picture of the real Atlantis cabinet sides from directly on center at 90 degrees. There isn't a good set of pictures on IPDB or anywhere else I can find; they all seem to be from a 45 degree angle. If I said "pretty please" and promised a thumbs up, could you post a nice picture of the cabinet side looking directly straight on with the camera at mid-cabinet height and another of the side of the head straight on?

It's not as easy as I would hope... (this is about half).

(well OK, I'll likely pick another 'double' next - a woodrail)

Maybe these are better, to see where the boundaries are (before cleaning).

She has come a long way. Great work. I'm glad it went to a great home.

Awesome! Thanks so much for posting the pictures. They are perfect! Now I just need the time to do a proper stencil job!

#26 9 years ago

Strange World left the building already...

#27 9 years ago

I wanted one of his Hit the Decks.........oh well, couldn't afford it anyway. I'll keep looking for a $300 CL deal - maybe I'll find one by next decade.

i was just trying to buy it a month or so? you said you didn't want to sell what did you get for it

Quoted from boilerman:

I didn't sell it. Traded for one of two games on my want list at the time (now down to just one).

Quoted from hoov:

One out the door
Two in.......

If only it were that few... I'm up to seven pins and two Skill Rolls 'in', and it's not even halfway through the year. 'Out' has some serious catching up to do.

Quoted from boilerman:

I tried to buy it as well

Can say I am no longer looking for this title as when I did finally get to play it, loved the art but gameplay was fairly average.

Atlantis stencils are available to buy. That would save you a lot of time. I've seen them on some of the places that sell game stencils.

Funny I have not seen them. Either way, I have so many projects stacked up I'm about to pull the trigger on a vinyl cutter to make my own high quality stencils.

Hi Dirtflipper,

Any chance you might submit your several 90-degree cabinet pictures to the IPDB, with and without metal siderails? Also, the 'twin' shot?

This assumes you are the photographer of them.
