Just got an Aquarius and getting into it. No scores on ball 1 and I noticed that the contact was not on rivet #1 on the BCU (it was before it on the bakelite) and adjusted so that it was touching. Still no score until it advances to #2 and the switch(es) change. Is the unit supposed to reset and then advance slightly (which would put the contact on rivet #1 if I put it back the way it was)? Here is a pic after reset, with contact on rivet.

You can tell how it should work by looking at the schematic, or even easier by looking at which Ball in Play light is on.

Not for what I'm describing.

Is there enough slack in the wiper adjust to set it where the contacts are closed yet ball 1 rivet? Contacts must be closed for scoring

Of course the ball trough switch should advance it to ball 1 when the ball is kicked out at the start of the game.

I meant advance in the reset process-kind of spring back from 0 (bakelite) to 1. In the pic, where it's currently on the 1st rivet, you can see where it had been going more left and that contact was on the bakelite. Plungers both work fine and it moves easily.

trough switch moves it from zero to 1

Of course. I've been working on with the pf up and no ball. Thanks pinhead52!
