Gottlieb Wild Life 1972

Hi, guys.
I have a score reel switch stack that is driving me nuts. No matter how I adjust the leafs, it doesn't throw far enough to open and close them normally.

It doesn't have an issue pushing to the left but it never goes far enough to the right to close the 1st switch closest to the metal housing/mounting plate.

I've adjusted countless times, pulled the stack off and restraightened, then started re-adjusting from square one..

Nothing appears to be broken, worn or missing.

The other reels behave normally.

Make sure the spring is holding the rod against the score reel as the reel rotates. The rod doesn't move much.

Yes, thanks for the reply. It is tight and not binding or loose in any way that I can tell

There's really not much to that assembly. I've never seen a worn score reel where the rod rides, but I suppose it's possible. As the reel rotates, how much does the rod move at the switch stack?

It was only moving about 3/16" left in the 9 position and only going back about 1/32" in the 0 position. It looked like someone had monkeyed with it so I bent the actuator wire a bit and now it seems to be throwing correctly in both directions. Must have been precious hackers.

Make sure all screws are present and tight.
