Still working on this old Gottlieb 300.

I'm pretty sure that the (Q) game over and (U) first ball relays should engage as soon as the power is applied to the game.
They do not.

I checked the fuses and all look good.

I am getting lights in the backbox.

One other thing I noticed is that the Tilt light is lit . (none of the tilt switches are closed).

Give me some hints on what this could be or how I could diagnose this problem
I have the schematic and have some small skills in reading it.

I connected a jumper from the playfield fuse lug to the white wire on R and I can get the First ball (U) and Game Over (Q) relays to pull in and the motor starts.

However it won't do this without the jumper.

Could you give me further hints to help me diagnose?

Also I noticed this jones outlet near the transformer which is missing a label. (see pic). Can you tell me what it does? Should it have a plug that connects it?

Asked the question about the female jones connector on Facebook. The answer is this is the receptacle for the A-15597 circuit delay module.
It delays counting the bonus . Apparently the game will work without it. Providing the info here in case someone asks a similar question.
