Greetings everyone, wanted to get some opinions on what to tackle next on my '65 Bank-A-Ball. I've owned the machine for probably 30+ years, and with life being busy working / raising a family I've not done much to it other than plug it in and play it from time to time. Now I've retired, and have started repairing it. I've replaced 4 missing pool balls behind the backglass and fixed the wonky pop bumper. Plays pretty well, but still some things to work out. I do have the schematics for the machine. Anyway, attached are some pictures of my machine in it's current condition, and here are some options on what to tackle next - take a look, and please offer any opinions. I understand that some of these options are much more complex than others. Thx -

1) Replace all rubbers / burned out lights / gently clean the playfield with Novus 1
2) Figure out the reasons that the 8 ball / special never lights up
3) Figure out what the heck they previous owner did with the coin insert mechanism. they also painted the whole coin end blue - Why?
4) Re-paint backglass where it's flaking badly - mainly the blue at the very top and the white around the point score. Also do whatever I can to preserve the original back glass paint.

Thanks in advance for all advice / opinions / etc. Ken

Quoted from Garrett:

Are the flipper buttons stainless steel?

Yes, they are stainless steel - but very worn
