Hey guys - I'll start by admitting I pretty retentive - so this may not be a huge issue, but I am also not a Pinball Genius so I would like some opinions if that's OK.
I have had my GOTLE for a little less than a year or so, and this is the first time I removed the upper playfield to wax and clean underneath. I cleaned and waxed when I bought it, but didn't do under the UPF . Pictures below are how the ramp is installed. It is definitely bent slightly, and you can see under the screw the tab actually looks like it was creased and then straightened. I assume this happened on installation because I have never had it apart and I noticed this BEFORE removing the screws to disassemble the UPF.
So my question is - does it matter? Is the fact that one end doesn't quite lie flat an issue? It doesn't seem to affect game play - or I would have assumed I would have noticed it before now. Assuming I want to fix it, how do I do that? Yes, I have thought about trying to bend it back, but my experience on other pins is that the spring steel is so thin, you end up doing more damage to it trying to bend it back.
The ramps are riveted to the rest of the ramp, so do I have to replace the entire ramp? Again, any of your thoughts would be appreciated.
