My idea was to light the scoop to match whatever was lit on the billboard. I will use this thread to track my progress.

Immediately adjacent to the scoop is a very bright GI bulb, which washed out the yellow (Mode Select) led I added below the playfield. The yellow LED didn't have enough illumination to overcome the GI bulb, so I swapped that out with a green (mode start = green, made sense to me!). The other lamp I substituted was the white "Upgrade" color. The white led worked fine, but overpowered the other colors during the light shows, so I swapped it with a purple. The selected colors can be seen below....

Quoted from MightyGrave:

Awesome
So can we see a Picture from under the Hood or did you have a how to for US?

Under the hood as requested. The wiring is a little sloppy, but this is just a rough prototype (I'm still refining the bracket). I'm going to work on cleaning up the wiring once the bracket is done.

Quoted from Markharris2000:

Are you making the 3D drawing of the bracket or a kit available at some point? Looks like an easy mod....

It's pretty simple (check out the above "below playfield" pic). It installs under one pre-existing screw, and the leds just jumper right in with a 5 pin connector.

I had to buy most of the parts in bulk (fasteners, connectors, pin headers, etc), so I'd like to make enough assemblies to use up the parts (assuming there is enough interest). After that I'd be open to sharing the stl file for those to print on their own.
