I thought I read something about needing to update the software after you've installed the topper so the topper node board is updated.

Yup, spoke to Stern about it it... same here. It will be fixed in next software update. If you already have newer software installed, as we all probably do... the node board won't update. The machine itself needs new software for the topper to update... hence only flapping when you first turn the machine on. Tried re-installing to no avail.

I am waiting for mine. I did see in one of the service menus there is a Topper attract setting. I think it defaults to Yes, but maybe worth checking if you haven't .

Got my topper installed today on my LE. Not only does it not work but the castle walls do not match the walls on the play field. Glad I paid all this money for an LE and the topper does not match. Great job Stern

Got mine installed tonight. So far only a wing flap upon power up. The sigil lights do light up during game play and they do match the corresponding ones on the playfield. Spot lights under the dragon do work as do the "Game of Thrones " back lights. Looks great, easy to install. Now all we need is a code update. I really like it.

All of the above for me, even after the node update fix.

Stern if you are reading this, please also give us an option to keep the spotlights under the dragon on during normal gameplay
