Depends on what makes a pin fun for you. If it's humor, Metallica is a clear winner. GOT is a faster game. MET has more depth, but GOT has really cool scoring rules. They're both fun.

Quoted from HighProtein:I'd go Metallica,
to me G O T is No Fear 2.0 or 3.0
and I've got a No Fear!
I can't think of even one way that GOT is like No Fear. OK, they both have 2 orbits, and 2 slings.
NF is a great game though. I wish I'd kept mine; it was sweet.
[EDIT] GOT is a lot more like Black Knight 10.0.
Quoted from jawjaw:I know they have little in common but GOT seems exactly like No Fear to me, too. Okay to shoot around but nothing too interesting or memorable.
Sounds like you got about an inch deep into the code. I sold NF because it was too linear, and GOT is anything but linear.
And there's Markmon, right on cue to bash GOT for the 27th time. Dude, you have a one-track mind, and you know nothing more about where GOT is in the release cycle than we do.
To be honest, I didn't even know about the scoring multipliers until I seriously started looking at buying GOT. To me this is a key aspect of the gameplay, and makes it great as a tournament or league pin.
You definitely need to get 10-20 games on each pin if this is a big investment for you. Hopefully someone local can help you out, and explain the rules for you. That's what sold me on GOT.
Quoted from Who-Dey:It seems like MET is mostly just bashing playfield toys.
I promise that it isn't. The ramps and orbits are critical during Multiball and Crank It Ups, as well as for qualifying Seek and Destroy and starting "And Justice for All". Definitely more depth and strategy than IM (which I also love, don't get me wrong).
