I have noticed this GI flicker when the flipper buttons are pressed on all of the GOTLE's I have played has anybody found a fix for this?

Nope. I emailed Dwight abut it, but unsure if he can do anything about it. The Pros have it too.

I PMed dwight about it on here and he said to contact stern support. I will do that on Monday so maybe it is not a coding issue.

Yeah I think if it was a coding issue Dwight would've already fixed it.
Since I'm in the process of acquiring Hougie's GoT machine, I started watching the show from the beginning last night. I'm up to episode seven already. I'm way behind, but the story seems interesting enough to get all the way through it. Just completed the crown of gold ending...probably should've been more specific with that request. 
Hopefully the pin is fun too. I had never considered either the show or the pin before he offered it up in a trade.
Is there a go-to place for GoT mods or is there a must-have list? I'm coming from a Tron where there was pretty much a $1,000 entrance fee in mods just to make it look right. Thankfully, those were already there when I got it. I already have Modfather's steampunk-looking flipper gears on the way. Seems like the playfield could've had a few smaller 3-D printed landmarks like the wall or something like that about the size of the 3D buildings on the sides of Ghostbusters Premium.
Finally, I get the vibe that this game was crushed under the weight of its hype--and that hype has moved onto Ghostbusters where those who worked themselves into a frenzy are now just as underwhelmed because that game is too hard for them. Social media and Twitch seem to be leading to information and hype over-consumption to the point where no machine will ever fully please the masses. I can't imagine TZ or TAF not suffering the same fate if they were released today.

Yeah the current tend is this:
1. Going to be the greatest game ever! Take my money!
2. Game released. And goes to #1 on Pinside.
3. This game sucks. Where's the code!
4. Drops out of the top 50.
5. Gets code update and slowly wins people over.
On the Pro, how is the pinball in the Iron Throne secured? I want to replace it with a brass ball, but wanted to find out first if anyone knew how it was secured in place. If it has a thread hole and is bolted, then I'll order a ball with a threaded hole already drilled.
update - I see the ball is threaded in place by a bolt through the seat area of the throne. Will just need to see how to remove the throne because unscrewing the ball will cause the loose bolt to fall out of place under the throne.

I'm Super excited to be joining the club, especially since I was told it would probably be July or later before I got it.
I have a bunch of premium polish pinballs on my way to use in place of the ones that come from Stern.
I plan on giving the playfield a thin layer of quality carnauba wax (following vid's suggestions).
Is there anything else I should be considering prior to putting a load of game time in on this bad boy this weekend?
No scoop... so don't need Cliffy protectors. Anything I'm missing?
Now that I know it is on its way, I just can NOT wait.

Put Mylar down on the edge of the outhole under the apron and in the shooter lane. The clear will most like start chipping in those spots after a few hundred games.

Nice, and congrats! 
I would add a Mylar patch onto the shooter lane near where where the ball exits. I was seeing a small bit of abrasion there after only ~50-100 plays. 100% helped. I also added a Mylar patch to the shooter lane side rail - the ball was leaving an indent in the wood in this spot. Short of adding a genuine Cliffy there, I think this also helps.
As some have suggested, applying Mylar *after* a coat of wax has been applied will aid in later removal.

I bought a 2" painted ball rod from Modfather for my Premium. I believe mine is the first of this model he ever produced, since I had contacted him about doing one for Premium that reflected its color scheme and suggested colors that would be good for it. The shooter rods are simple to make yourself too. I think they are way overpriced for what they are. It's literally a $3 Game of Thrones medallion epoxied to a $4 blank shooter rod. I found cool one for 99 cents on eBay that's being shipped for free from China. This one has some color and I think looks nicer than the others being used. I ordered 3 and will make and sell the other two if I like it.

yup, that's exactly what i did on mine.
and it fits perfectly on a regular shooter rod, just send the shooter rod flat and epoxy the medallion/keychain... right on top.

Lollipop rails - $60 - much more reasonable solution. I have them and they fit perfectly.

If you have a gouge there then yes..keep in mind I had to remove the insert and paint it gold too (came chrome but doesn't match the pro). Lollipops work too but don't show your allegiance lol

Just got a personal best winter is coming hurry up. Just over 200 million.
I also had a game going where my spinner was giving me over 1.6 million a spin and I drained out before I could tons of points out of it.
I don't understand how anyone could get bored of this game for more than a week or so. Haha

Yep. Really concentrating on when to cash in a hurry up with lots of multipliers. I passed on more than one hurry up as well. Also had a 70 and an 80 hurry up, but didn't get any WHC SJPs of course haha.

I had a really cool moment in my game. I had 5x playfield and level four spinner and got 4-5 good rips on it before my multipliers ran out. Must've gotten at least 900m-1b in that sequence.

13 Bil from iron throne alone. I was just tearing it up maximizing the playfield multiplier timer on each level before refreshing/bumping it up to the next tier.
I had a sweet HOTK too getting around 5 Bil. Again, I played the pf multiplier to perfection and tore threw two stark bonus rounds and got the final hurry up jp for just over 2 bil. I've never been able to get the hurry up sjp while bringing house stark into it. I was just in the zone hitting on all cylinders.
I needed a game like that cause GOT has been growing a little tiresome, we need an update!

+1 on capturing one of those games on camera. Or a strategy guide on how to pull this cool shyte off. Do you still have lord of light awarding the ball save once a ball not once a game? I was thinking about changing my game to that setting.
