Yes, once you hear The Hound's speech in the ROM that isn't used, you'll want it in there.
I've been trying to do sound substitutions around 0x400-0x600, with no luck. The sound is correct when I preview it, but once imported it plays back at double speed. Has anyone else tried modding this ROM yet?

Note: I once ended a 3rd ball with a TILT - the Hound laughed at me quite cruelly! Just awesome!!

right on. So, These are unused quotes in the code? There could be an adult mode coming in a future update

Who knows... I think ST holds the crown for the most callouts in code that aren't used. Many of the unused ones are really good too.

From my notes:
201-3FA are The Hound (505 callouts)
3FB-600 are the woman (517)
601-761 are callouts from the show (352)
762-786 are music
There's about a 90% overlap between the callouts that The Hound and the woman do. In a perfect world, there would be a setting to let you pick who does the callouts.
Can you detail some of the quotes from the show that are in there but not in the latest code. I'm very interested in this as this is the biggest gripe for me. Great callouts from the show would really help immerse you in the game.

Honestly a lot of what you're looking for can be heard during attract mode by hitting the flipper buttons. Show and Hound recorded ones.

You can hear them yourself. Load the ROM into PinballBrowser, start at 0x601 and enjoy.

I get random Hodor callouts during a game when I'm holding up one flipper and pressing the other quickly. Haven't figured out exactly how it happens yet though.
Honor is in the instant info from time to time, midnight madness, and I believe makes an appearance in the attract sound buttons too.

My GoT arrived this week. I realized my gold mirror blades are for Bally/Williams, so they have the bolt hole. Not going to unpackage them since they're slotted for The Shadow.
Today I added clear flipper buttons with white LED strips lighting them up, wood signs and wired up the subwoofer. Also added the swords I bought and instead of placing them behind the stand up target brackets, I cut them to proper length and installed them on the spotlight posts to hide the ugly posts. Another sword was placed on the wall of the shooter lane and another placed across the top of the left ramp.
Still waiting for the flipper decals and the Stern desert sideart.

Wow that sounds great, did you schedule some time to actually play the thing or are all the slots filled by making it look like shit?

Has anybody installed a Sigma display in a GOT? The LED DMD part # is the same as for pre-Spike Sterns, so I was thinking it should work (?).

I didn't think any aftermarket DMD supported spike yet?

It's the same Stern part number, same voltages, same connector. I just don't want to try it because I already blew my cabinet node with a shaker mod.

What about a dragon on one side and the flames on the other side. So when it spins you see a dragon with fire spewing from his mouth?
I think those are both great ideas. The dragon fire idea sounds like my Big Game. Those spinners have red paint on the backs of them so that when the spinners are spinning, the tigers' faces' eyes and mouths turn red.

Randy didn't reply to my PM, but he did reply to a friend of mine. Apparently ColorDMD is sensitive to the timing of the data, and it's different on Spike than on SAM. I want to say I've noticed a difference in DMD framerate too, but I could be wrong about that. Anyway, it's nontrivial to add Spike support to ColorDMD. Bummer.

HUO GoT premium recently landed in the game room (along with a modded out Tron pro).
Wow, what a blast these games are to play.
Personally, I really dig the Thrones premium art package and the gameplay is such an adrenaline rush. Loving the mini playfield and just now getting a grasp on the rules. This pin has awesome flow and a fantastic light show.
IMO, Stern continues to make some of the best pins on the planet. Now, just patiently waiting for my GBLE to arrive. I've said it before; and I'll say it again, this is such an awesome hobby.
