Looks like a deal! When the ball is down (with machine off) you will notice it is resting on a switch. Look at this switch closely, it may be making sporadic contact or the wires may be loose.
Cupped inserts are a little more problematic, fill with 2- part auto clear and level (which is difficult if you are not clearing the whole playfield).
Or remove the inserts and level or replace (not that difficult if you study up and take your time), look for Vids Guide to playfield restoration).
Finally, quick and cheap, cut small circles of mylar and stick/stack them (a temporary fix).
Or cut your own clear playfield protector (25 bucks and time) if this Title is not offered by the Suppliers (140 bucks, not cheap)
Good to see the young lady playing, my daughter loved playing growing up and has recently returned, wanting her own machine.
