So my Gorgars tilt mechanism is impossible to activate during play. Dont know much about tilt mechanisms but from what i gather, mine seems to be missing the 'plumb bob' part. If i push the wire against the ring with my hand it will trigger a tilt, so the wiring is good. Can anyone post a pic of their gorgar tilt mechanism or happen to know what specific parts ill need to get this working? Ive looked around and there seems to be a variety of different plumb bobs. Id like the original style used by Williams in this 1979 machine.

Ill show you mine if you show me yours

-Thanks

It can still be tilted during the game, you're just not trying hard enough!

The individual Plumb bob may not fit the hanger so buy the whole thing

Does that one have a set screw?

No, I just added the clip for it to my post.

Hah, Id invite you to come try and tilt it. Asside from lifting it off two legs sideways, tis impossible. No one has tilted on it, ever. I can rattle pretty much any ball out of the out lanes. A friend now tells me to "stop gorgaring" whenever i tilt any machine.

Im leaning towards that stern with the thumb screw. Ill see if this thread brings any more info before committing. Thanks.

I think the Stern Hole diameter is too small for the Williams assembly.

Hmm i wonder. Can anyone with a gorgar post what there's looks like? Or maybe you can snap a photo of your black knights? I believe they a month or so apart so may be same rig.

"What does Gorgar's plumb bob look like" sounds like something one secret agent says to another to let them know they can be trusted.

It'll 'look' exactly like the ones linked with the thumb screw, it's just a question of what diameter rod was used. I've seen at least two in the wild (not on gorgar, but you never know what might have been swapped), and sadly the pages don't list the hole diameter so you can't be sure. 90% chance the linked one will work, or you could just buy the rod as well to be safe
