Wondering if someone could assist with some funny troubles I'm having with my gorgar. First off I had a problem with about 7 switches that were not working plus the game would either tilt or reset. I found the coin mech shorted and that seemed to clear up all my troubles. Thought I was a genius and all was good. Looks like I was wrong. Tried it today and found it was still doing the reset/tilt thing and found that when I hit the 4 target the game would act as if I drained the ball and would go to the next ball or go to the next player and start the ball when I only started a game for 1 player. I also noticed that the 3 target does not work anymore. That might have been from me fiddling around. I have no idea. I find that when 2 of the pop bumpers are hit it is when the game goes tilt or reset. It has a new Rottendog MPU and power supply. I have no idea where to go from here. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm a "teach a man how to fish" kind of guy:

1. Grab your instruction booklet off ipdb, link it here for others to help you out quicker.
2. Grab your schematics (may be in the manual) off ipdb as well.
3. Take a look at the switch matrix page.
4. Write a list of all your switches that are out and write the # next to each one as shown on this page.
5. Report back to us which ones are out. (using the numbers in the switch matrix: 1-64)

Determine A or B:
A. You have a column or row out, which would mean 7-8 switches all out at the same time.
or
B. If you look at the switch matrix, and they are NOT in the same row or column, then consider that there is no pattern, and start isolating the issues one by one, starting by looking at physical switch issues (contacts/diodes/loose wires, etc). Then if the physical issue looks good, we can help you troubleshoot various components on the boards.
