My Gorgar has no solenoids working. No flippers either.

I can start a game and everything else works but the ball doesn't pop out flippers don't work. Pop bumpers don't work either. Coils seem to be shorted across diodes.

Switches work. Sound works. Playfield lights work. I can drain ball 3 times to end the game.

All fuses have been tested out of circuit and are not blown. Coil in door has been cut so that's not the problem.

All pcbs have been bullet proofed. New connectors everywhere.

Anyone have any ideas? I'm thinking maybe the bridge rectifiers?

Frustrated!!!

Do you have 50 volts on the power supply ?

LTG : )

Do you have voltages at the solenoids that are not working?

The solenoids/coils are all shorted out. None of them are working. The flippers are not working either. I can start a game but the ball doesn't pop out of the shoot. The souonds all work. I can press the switches with me fingers and they all work...

Do you have a voltage meter? Check to see if you are getting voltages at the coils.

No - not shorted out. Not working because a circuit path positive voltage to ground is not present. First step is to get a voltmeter or DMM and check the coil supply voltage to find out if it is present or not as everyone is telling you. With the game turned on and DMM set to measure DC volts, touch positive lead to any coil tab, while simultaneously touching negative lead to ground (usually the ground braid if it is intact will suffice)

I figured it out. My bad. The 6 pin connector on the power supply board was missing. Grounded out the bridge rectifiers and all is good! Game is playing perfectly! Great game for 1979. The heart beat sure goes crazy the longer you play. Thanks again for peoples help. And yes I have a DMM and measured everything. Just couldn't figure out what was missing.
