Can someone post a pic of their Gorgar left flipper and switch wiring? I want to ensure my wiring is correct.

Patience...it takes a minute to make it happen.

Cody beat me by seconds. Now you have 2 references. One with lugs towards the stop and one with lugs away from the stop.

Thanks guys. Well, my wiring is correct. I'm stumped. Every time I use my left flipper and let go, I get gorgar to say "Gorgar". Anyone every have such a problem?

Did you just try banging on the playfield and seeing if vibration registers a different switch and causes this ?

Yes, I tried that and for some reason it's only happening when I press the flipper button and when I let go of the left flipper button is when I'm getting the speech.

Ok I think I found it. Left flipper is missing a diode. This must be backfeeding to the sound board. I can’t tell the value? Is it a 1N4001? Can someone confirm? Almost there!

Too low a voltage. As in you'll blow stuff up.

1N4004 or 1N4007 will work nicely.

That was it! I was getting back feed to the sound board. The missing diode caused that. Now I discovered one last issue. I'm not sure if the heartbeat sound is on all times. After game over, the game goes into attract mode but I get a heartbeat sound that doesn't stop.

The back feed may have mucked things up. I'd try a factory reset.

So, factory reset didn't cure my sound issue. The accelerated heartbeat continues after game over and in attract mode. Kinda annoying. I know there are supposed to be some jumpers on the sound board. I can't find where they are supposed to be. Check the attached pic. Is a diode supposed to be soldered like this between
test points?
