Quoted from travisbmartin:

Can someone with better eyes help me out? What color are the lane guides up top? I can't tell if they are red or orange (color blind). If anyone knows the length or part number too, that would be great. Mine are shot.

Mine are transparent red, 2-1/8". They appear to be this part:

Quoted from meSz:

Anyone able to send me the chart for where all the rubber rings go on this game please? Not finding the manual online! The one on IPDB isn't complete! Please PM me!!

I looked around for a long time and never found one, so I added what was in my Gorgar to Titan's pinball kit database a while back, and made a diagram for it.

I plan on doing a fliptronic style flipper upgrade as well as LEDs. Are there any other must have upgrades? I've seen a lot of other people have replaced the speakers as well. Has anyone changed the lane guides to the flippers?

Rebuilt original flippers are still very good. I installed the Cliffy lane guides and it completely eliminated the ball hop, so that's worthwhile if you can't dial it out with stock hardware. Take apart the spinner, really clean and polish the contact points. Gorgar with a weak spinner is pretty disappointing.

I've been on the list for a while, but not in a hurry, because I'm also on the Paragon list and I don't think I could handle two in a year!

Without the lane change feature, it takes more skill to plunge/nudge into the lane you want. It would be too easy to max out the bonus X if you could lane change. If you can do it nearly every time, it no longer matters.

Did the price go up on the CPR website for this? I don't remember it being $749 when I signed up...

My email is from October 2016, and it was $649 at the time.

Quoted from DJNOEL30:

I aligned the game, however the ball seems to roll up the shooter lane about half way and rolls back at the start of each game. Any thoughts additional thoughts on what my issue might be? I'm at 6.5 right now on the flippers.

Did it work before and this is a new thing? Should be no problem regardless of angle.

Start by checking to see if the shooter tip is contacting the center of the ball. If the shooter rod is misaligned, contacting the ball at the top or bottom will cause problems.

Besides the manual, there would have been a smaller instruction booklet, a registration card, and a whole bunch of pricing/replay inserts in a big sheet.

My Gorgar has amber inserts for D and E, so I guess they were made both ways. I do like that all of the inserts are opaque on the repro, I think that looks better than original.

I found this online hope it’s correct getting ready to do my game as well.[quoted image]

I made that chart, based on what came in my gorgar. It worked, but a couple changes could make things fit better. The one labeled F in the top right should probably be smaller. I don't believe an official rubber ring chart exists.

Quoted from PoBoyPinball:

Could you share your chart the one you made, it may help me and iamdrunker

I meant, I made the graphic that you already posted.

An easy feed from the kickout can make that the go-to strategy, but you can change the setup to have it hit the sling or something.

If you can alley pass for D+E to spot numbers, that's an option, but it's harder on some machines than others.

It's possible to complete the GAR bank in a single shot, and after 3 completions it scores 5k per target plus 5k for completion. After 4 it lights an outlane special which can be set to points. Lighting the pops for 1k each can pay off if your pops work well.

So there are other options for scoring good points besides that kickout, especially if you set it up for a bad feed.
