    The tumbler is only part of the equation.

    You need to use the right media and polish for the job too.

    For parts with rust or white corrosion and lots of threads and detail, you many want the pyramid resin media, for general polishing - walnut shell, for softer metals or chrome - corn cob.

    For parts with heavy corrosion, you may need to soda/bead/sand blast first before tumbling.

    Always clean and de-grease parts before tumbling.

    Ultrasonic does not polish or remove corrosion.

    Think of it as a vibrating soapy bath.

    Small common screws are so cheap, I usually just replace them.
