My pins all have fairly long ball and game times. I had an IM which was a nice, quick, fun, ass kicking game. Any other suggestions for quicker gametime games. Thanks.

I always seem to have short ball times on bsd. Love the game, but good thing there isn’t one nearby to feed quarters....

    Medusa.

    Kicks my ass regularly.

I agree with BK2K for fast games, I play decently long games but that's becuase it's my favorite game and I've played it a ton . However when most people visit, their games last for about 2 to 3 min and are generally under a million points. GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!!!

BSD, TWD, and most EM games.

My current go to game for a quick game is Mata Hari. Any early solid state or EM is a good choice.

    #17 6 years ago

Tron and ya avatar pro for sure.

    #18 6 years ago

Avatar is quick with a little depth, easy to learn hard to master!!

    #19 6 years ago

Can’t believe that no one has said Ghostbusters yet. That game will definitely kick your ass!

I must be the only person who has short games on ACDC. That game bullies me....

    WNBJM and GI
    also most EM's

You can set any game to play easy to hard -- just look at PAPA championships...

GB, AS, FT, IM, Kiss, BSD

Can’t believe no one mentioned Metallica. Yeah for everyone familiar with the game you can have amazing games here and there but often I find it fast and brutal and sometimes downright embarrassing when I have 3 games in a row and can’t even break 5 Mil.

you might just not be very good. It usually is a long ass playing game.

Want a game with a typically short game time?.....Rob Zombie (It's Brutal)

    #29 6 years ago

Aerosmith..... don’t know what it is about that game but it makes you want to keep playing.

Oh and did I mention it can be a real son of a bitch!

    #30 6 years ago

F-14 even on 5 ball kicks my ... , and keeps me coming back for more.

    #31 6 years ago

    Paragon!

Seriously get a nice SS or EM.

    #32 6 years ago

    Newish Stern: Ironman
    90's B/W: Fishtails
late 70's/early 80's: Flash Gordon (plus a lot more)
    Earlier: Any EM.

    #33 6 years ago

Early SS or EM if you want ball times less than 60 seconds.

You could also just tweak the machines you currently own. Turn off ball save, turn off extra balls, make tilt more sensitive, change playfield angle, etc...

    The Shadow!

Agree, paragon is my hardest game and maybe the hardest I have ever owned. The right flipper design makes ball control such an issue. I find it a lot harder then my FG.

    #36 6 years ago

    TNA is fast and brutal.

    #37 6 years ago

Star Wars and it's fun for the other players to look at the videos and try to learn more the rules by following the screen.
Older games like EBD and FG are certainly short, addictive and very challenging, they are great addition in any gameroom.

I like this thread, I have a strong aversion to games with long ball times. 99% of the time I get to play, it's 10-15 mins here and there, maybe multiple times a day on the weekends. So I really like games that are fast, all mine are set to 3-ball to encourage futility in scoring. But it sure feels good when you turn on the game and discover that the force is with you and you play 10 minutes or more on an EM or early Bally SS-

This list will be useful in ranking my wish list! Glad to see so many "cheaper" games here-

    #39 6 years ago

    Safecraker is technically shorter

    #40 6 years ago

    Cyclone

    #41 6 years ago

    Of the games I own:

    Ghostbusters
    The Walking Dead
    Bram Stoker's Dracula
    Star Wars (Stern)
    Tron

    #42 6 years ago

Gonna vote for Shadow or Ghostbusters.

    #43 6 years ago

Just played a game and can confirm F-14 for sure. And they are priced right to boot.

    #44 6 years ago

Bonus points for EMs with 2-inch flippers.
Double bonus points for EMs with 2-inch flippers and no inlanes.

    #45 6 years ago

Played a bit of Fish Tales last night. Those posts around the center captive ball are drain makers for sure. Fun game yhough.

    #46 6 years ago

TNA and Ghostbusters are both really hard.

    #47 6 years ago
    Quoted from rotordave:

There’s a lot to be said for games like this, where a whole 4 player game can take less time than one ball on Metallica ...

    #48 6 years ago

For the recent rock-themed Sterns, AC/DC drained me much faster than Metallica. I love that bell toy, but sometimes it knocks that ball back to the center gap with the quickness.

    #49 6 years ago

    T2
    Pinbot
    Fish Tales
    BSD

    #50 6 years ago

    Flash Gordon for sure.
