    Got a Seaga CM1250 which only lasted about a year. LCD screen just blinks a few times before fading to black when it's powered on. Have to leave it unplugged for a long time before it will actually power on and even then it will only stay on for hours or maybe a day.

    Are American Changer (AC1001) or Standard (MC100) changers good quality/reliable?

    I've serviced AC6000 change machines. The coin track belt needed cleaning a couple times a year since it got caked with grime, but that was it for the most part.
