So I've come to the conclusion that I totally suck at pinball, however I still do enjoy it a lot. I like my RFM though it being my sole pin, I am playing it less and less so am thinking of getting some more. So I was wondering if people could recommend some DMD era pins that wouldn't crush the life out of me? I played some games on an ACDC premium recently and was flayed alive. Maybe if I had it as a home pin I'd get better but after 10 games of punishment I think I'd rather not chance it.

Anyhow I do understand the only way to know is to play machines for yourself, but would be cool to get some input from the board.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I played an LOTR the other day and, of course, it kicked my arse, but in my defense it seemed like a lot of the machine wasn't working very well. And I do love the theme. I have played AFM, MB and SS a heap on TPA and I love them but a recent humiliation on a real AFM made me question how easy they really are. I guess it probably is true that getting hard machine will force me to improve.

And no, I've tried bounce pasing on RFM and have only succeeded in draining every single time. My main skill is mindless flailing.
