Event Horizon is another "slow burn", and the hell orgy scenes are intense. We'll sadly prolly never get the director's cut with the missing 20 minutes showcasing the hell orgy scenes in all their insidious and agonizing glory. There are descriptions floating around the internet of what we are missing in that scene. They're ...well... yeah, not for a first date.
Great movie. Just rewatched it recently and it's still amazing. Like a lot of old movies though, it's funny how many cigarettes they smoke. Fishburne literally has a smoke em if you got em line.
Also saw an article recently about that cut scene. It said they hired a bunch of porn stars to do it and it really was absolutely gnarly.
