I've played enough STLE to determine it's just not for me. It's just missing something. Yeah it's fast and there is flow, but for some reason it feels sort of bland. I don't really care about light shows and shaking ships. I'm not saying it's a bad game. I like it, but I can't seem to find the love.
On the other hand RS is one of my favorites. Unique, fun, and full of surprises. It is pretty deep and there is a good amount of strategy involved once you get familiar with everything. It just comes together so well.
Different strokes I guess. Do the deal if you want to. Not crazy at all in my eyes.
