Poor guys can't win: ship too soon and everyone is up in arms about poor QA -vs- ship patiently and everyone loses faith and becomes a cynic.

I'm always amazed at the vitriol and constant whining. Seems a tad premature for a game that just came out. Of course everyone is eagerly anticipating the code drop, but most of us don't troll about it.

A software update is late? A game is released unfinished? Time for the caped coder to jump into action!

So enlighten me and tell me what software ships these days finished? Just curious how few examples there are, because none come to mind...
