Quoted from PW79:That's the plan
It's a brand new group. There's only 3 of us so far. Join!
My thought is it will be a better way to communicate than Pinside eventually. The admin (me) doesn't have to send the GT Caddy invites. The FB page just makes it easy for us to compile & update a Pinside Group we can all create on the GT caddy app.
Think of it like an extension of the current FB groups "Home Edition" or " Golden Tee Invite" rather than a replacement.
As far as what FB groups bring to the GT table just join the GT groups to see what I mean. Folks can say "Send me an invite for 1 on 1 and I will play tonight" or "Hey gonna build a group invite, any requests for courses or years" or "Anyone up for a CTTP match" etc.
Tourneys can be created by any of us. The FB page is just a billboard, discussion board, so on.
The group name is GOLDEN TEE PINSIDE
I just sent a request to join. I have an old 99 and after playing 5 hours on a friends 2005 I am feeling the itch to get a new one.
Any advice on getting one like this? For the price they are asking it has to be an older machine upgraded to 2019. Besides parts being used (i. e. Track ball) is there some other negatives I should look out for?
Thanks!
