Nice! Those cabs are a BEAST! 29 courses!

#553 5 years ago

I have a 2018 pedestal with a wall-mounted monitor. What is the recommended/official/ideal distance between the back of the cab and the monitor (i.e. if you had the official monitor stand/mount)?

It's written on the back of the cab

24"

An employee of mine is sort of curious how much a 2005 or 2007 GT is for his house. Is there a price range for the older ones?

Anyone know the approximate weight of this machine? I think it is an HUO

So it is, thanks!

If it's a Fore! cabinet, it's listed at 350 lbs here.

That is a remake from Chicago gaming and the exact dimensions are Cabinet Dimensions: 43"L x 27"W x 67"H; 350 lbs. So not an original Fore cabinet FYI. I have sold a few of those.

Fair enough, but at least it's approximate. They are heavy bastards!

I bought a 2005 GT Complete with scrolling marquee last year for $650. Not sure if that was a good price but I am happy with it.

#561 5 years ago

Thanks all, sure is heavy enough!!!! I only paid $250.00 for it. No scrolling marquee.

Perfect! I just wanted to see where GT Year vs cost was under 1k so I can give me a list so he can pick a year that fits his budget. I think they can be upgraded so that can be down down the road for him. I'll hit up Kingpin games and see what he has as well incase I can't find one local

What area are you located?

#564 5 years ago
Quoted from HD_Fatboy:

Northern Minnesota.

Kingpin is maybe 4-5 hours away. The Twin Cities is 2-2.5 hours south of me.

Go to Facebook marketplace. You can select a city and search radius up to 100 miles around it, that's how I found this one. Good Luck!

ugh, I'm not on FB...sometimes it can suck for things like this or pinball league things but the drama!

He has it I bet, I'll let him know.

So I have a betson account, but where do people get the upgrade kits to go like 2005 to 2009 or 2011? I also assume if you don't pay for online, you need the unplugged version?

#567 5 years ago

Well, UPS dropped off my new HAPP RGB LED trackball and new led buttons (the old ones were gummy from the bar environment). This weekend I'll cut down the cabinet, add some diamond plate and post some pics. Is there anywhere that sells new overlays or inserts for the top?

Do they sell units that can play all that style games? So you could drop in a dollar and pick what game? I mean, it isn’t dedicated but man that would be handy.

How did u do price wise

#583 5 years ago

What does a 2010 unplugged sell for? A few dings and the molding needs to be replaced.
Has a 32" tv that has some scratches on plastic not on the screen. Thanks Joe

I always have pedestals for sale 2015-2018. Also can combine 2,3, or all four IT games in one cabinet. Silver Strike X, Powerputt live and target toss pro.

Powerputt has always intrigued me. Never payed one to be honest.

If you can combine GT and PP in the same cab with a switch game button and do good work on it that would be pretty darn cool.

Played one near me a few weeks ago. Whatever setting it was on was trying way too hard to be "EXXXTREME!!!" Like when you would make a putt it would say something like "NO F***IN' WAY!" Played a few games, but no way it had the longevity of Golden Tee, at least not for me.

There are 5 levels of difficulty in the 'casual' mode. Op must have it set to hardest setting....

Now if you signed in to play a 'live' game, there difficulty is way harder than any casual setting.....

Just shot a new PB Monday night -28 .....only got 2 looks at this setup on Mayfield!

Chasing that elusive -30......but I wont give up!

oops...must haver mis-read your post...sorry..lol

Im sure IT has a difficulty setting on power putt also.....

TY! I've been playing this darn game since it appeared in the bars in the late 90's...

Did anyone see the stream from the World championships in Vegas last weekend? Wateched the live stream on you tube....those guys are good!

Any leaks about 2019?

Its 4 mos away right?

My 2018 gameplay reeeally slowed down due to the baby. Time to pick up the pace!

If you buy the update can you upgrade multiple games?

#596 5 years ago
Quoted from kidchrisso:

No

IT sends an update specific to your cabinet ID, nighthawk & maybe something else or four.

You ever get online yet & build a golfer?

----------

Just went to the GT FB page. They started dropping info yesterday. 2019 is looking great. IT just keeps making GT better & better.

Agave Ranch - Arizona: Sunset lighting!
Catedrais Beach - Spain: Rocky beach with a twist
Beals Creek - Texas: Oil money, mansions & sand
Pembroke - South Wales: Bunkers & seaside
Sandhill Woods - North Carolina: Pine needles

Cool

Sooo if you want some value does one wait a few years to upgrade? Can those who have upgraded chime in?

The 1 yr upgrade carries a lower cost than a multi year upgrade but over time the multi year upgrade has a lower cost than yearly updates.

Since I’m no longer immortal I update every year. Well, I think I do.
