So my kid moved out of state. We're co-signed and co-titled on her car. Our insurance does not provide coverage in her new home state, so she got new insurance. She goes to register the car. Can't do it. Names on the title, registration, insurance must match. What do you do? If the car is financed, God help you. DMV says to ask the finance company for a letter authorizing removal of your name from the title. Finance company says "well, we don't normally do that but you can refinance or request an exception via written letter". Here's the easy option. The insurance company, at least Geico, will add you to the insured's policy for registration purposes only at no charge or change to the policy. I would not have expected that in a million years.

If you own an Android phone that seems slow and want to give it a speed boost, go to settings - about device. Scroll down to build number and tap 7 times. This turns on developer mode. Back out one screen. Click developer options. Scroll down to the below settings and change them to the values shown.

Don't go to SeaWorld on a rainy, or potentially rainy day. Practically the entire park shuts down. They will let you in. You just won't be able to do much of anything. If you do find yourself in this predicament within 5 hours of entering the park, they will issue you a Sunny Day pass, good for a future visit within the next 90 days. If you bring your parking receipt, they will also issue a parking voucher. If you left the damn thing in the car, just go to where you paid for parking and they will refund the purchase price in full. One more thing, it's $10 cheaper if you pay for it online.
