I go to Disney World all the time, usually stay at the Boardwalk as we have DVC points there. They have a small arcade by the main pool which has some video games/no pins. Usually busy on rainy days.
This weekend the main pool was closed waiting to get the all clear after a storm, so we went to the other "Quiet" pool which is smaller, no bar, less kids, etc. While there I explored the Community center they have there for the first time, and was surprised to see:
- Pool table, ping pong, cornhole
- Big screen showing movies
- Staffed with a Disney person and crafts for kids
- Multi-arcade machine set to freeplay
- Star Wars Pro set to freeplay
I only had a short time so played a couple balls on the pin. Someone had left mid-game, so I continued their play and soon hit a replay. Table wasn't balanced well, things seemed to lean a bit to the right, but appeared to play without issue. This was my first time trying the new Star Wars pin, and it wasn't as fast/frantic as I've heard, but that may have also been due to the setup. Could have been setup very player friendly as this was an area for kids, this could be normal, not sure.
But happy to find it and will be checking that location each visit!
