John Wick????

Quoted from Noma2017:

Take your place at the table. Isn’t that a very common mafia phrase though? Like becoming a boss?

#152 1 year ago

Think of a magician. He says the magic is over here, but in reality it's over there.

Diverting your attention to hide the "magic".

LTG : )

#153 1 year ago

well just on theme I'd be more interested in a Godfather pin than foo fighters or Scooby Doo, but, of course, playability is king...

#154 1 year ago

Take your place at the table...

Maybe we are all getting that Christian Rock Pinball Machine We Have All Been Waiting For!

#155 1 year ago
Quoted from Hulk7979:

JJP CE’s are on a different level than Stern LE’s.
Different quality and definitely a cut above.

Oh man, they blew it! Should have signed Stryper!

And all you have to accept is code that is perpetually shallow and/or clumsy and/or unfinished.

Quoted from LTG:

To mess with people. They aren't careless without reason.
LTG : )

It's not funny to pick on the backwards kids.

Hmm.
So, The Godfather rumor is a diversion, a magician’s misdirection?
I’m glad to hear that, frankly, because The Godfather will sell terribly.

No, switch that.

Well whatever it is if it doesn't sell it's RIP for JJP.

Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

Can anyone make anything of what is written on the edge of the playfield?
[quoted image]

I did not even see the playfield. Time to update the breakers in the electrical boxes.

#164 1 year ago

Hobbit has probably the all-time worst ratio of stuff under the playfield, to fun on top of the playfield, so I wouldn't throw a party over that photo.

Except for the Voldemort poster. That definitely means Harry Potter is next. Go crazy.

Hobbit is the only JJP game i'd ever want back here from what they have done so far.

I only sold it in disgust after getting GnR in the first aussie shipment. Sold that pos too.

Pics of the playfield aren’t popping up on this thread?
Were they erased?

#167 1 year ago

Feel like his shirt is more Harry Potter color then Godfather.
It’s Fun guessing!

I think the image server was down for a few minutes.

Gotcha
Now I understand the spaghetti references

Quoted from LTG:

No reason for me to get excited.
I am happy for who ever gets one of what ever they are building.
LTG : )

Seems to me with all the wiring and mechs jammed under that playfield that they’re going to need LTG more than ever over at JJP for additional tech support!

#172 1 year ago

I hope it's not Godfather but maybe it is and it's awesome

#173 1 year ago

That huge grin on Eric's face has me more excited than all the wires. Looks like a "just wait until you see this" type of grin. Bring it on Mr Meunier.

#174 1 year ago
Quoted from BMore-Pinball:

I hope it's not Godfather

Guys.

#175 1 year ago

Nothing but fluff, if you have a game show it, it not then finish it, but this is a complete waste of time.

It's for that reason i'm out.

So what your saying (again) is your out?

Quoted from CrazyLevi:

Will used length of wire be the new coil count?!

Hope not for spooky's sake, they've had some wiring come up short

#179 1 year ago

No matter what the game is, am I the only one that really likes JJP service rails?

#180 1 year ago
Quoted from TreyBo69:

Before Spike, Gary would say a pinball machine had as much wiring as a car. Such a unique comparison that puts it into perspective as I am very familiar with car manufacturing!

Classic Gary Stern cargument

You guys do realize that someone photoshopped the HP poster into the original photo, right? It was a joke.

Quoted from titanpenguin:

They are awesome. Unfortunately, the screws holding in the cabinet service rails aren’t so much. Have had multiple GNR owners (self included) have those screws pop out and lose the playfield into the cab.

EDIT: takeaway. Be sure to tighten every screw from factory. New JJP owners; see you next winter

Quoted from romulusx:

So what your saying (again) is your out?

Don't think i've said that already, although i had mentioned the elephant earlier.

If i had then my personal apologies to you for repeating myself.

I'm in the process of organising brain scans atm to find out why that is happening lately.

Nerd here!

He's next to number 13... There is a Harry Potter reference related to sitting at the table and the number 13!

They're neat, but I'm not sure I ever need the extra length, and they add a few pounds to an already backbreaking game setup.

Not all adult men know about a wizard from a kids book.

Not surprised you do, why didnt you just help the special kids out?

Whoever gets that playfield will be missing a screw it looks like.

Correct, i didn't know who the wizard guy was until someone said.

I was, however, observant enough to notice the picture was shopped in there as it wasn't in the one before it or the one after it.

Should i apologise again now? If so, for noticing it or for mentioning it?

Stern sheet metal head, no proper lockdown bar mech, and bolts to lock the head instead of a proper lock mech = cheap…yet prices have gone up like crazy.

I prefer all of those...but of course I am getting older
First day when I set up the machine is probably the second to last time I touch the head of a machine or care aboot it in any way
Decades of screwing in pointless head bolts...allen wrench lock is so much better.
