Yeah with me like i said it's not so much the colour. I rather admit i like the shade it's taken in the picture and perhaps that may be due to the lighting but oxblood/burgundy just really gets me going when used appropriately which the pinball did in my opinion. but i guess i personally just would've liked to see more variety like different locations/area's portrayed on the playfield. but i dunno it looks like fun. i'm still just as happy for anyone out there that buys or plays it and enjoys it.

I didn’t watch it but if it’s at all like GnR with spamming of multiballs and I don’t know PotC that well but I believe you can stack 5 multiballs at the same time. So I’m not really interested in that type of code.

Yeah, Stern’s “pockmarked teenager” over “ribbed condom” playfields are much better. Especially with the ghosting inserts and double register and out of focus art printing. But I hardly notice that anymore, because I’m too busy reinforcing my cabinet corners so they don’t separate and warp the table. Or because I’m reapplying decals that are peeling away from the cabinet and head before I can even get the game out of the box. At least the box is a lot lighter these days. Because there’s a less substantial game inside. Levi’s right about that! The game is often even lighter, because one or more Spike boards may be on their way back to Stern at any given time.

Good thing is the lights can be programmed.

Yeah, but let's be clear, that happened (at least in part) because we spoke up. Not taking the credit for that, but there were a lot of words written, and JJP took the feedback to heart and made tremendous improvements that everyone benefitted from. Constructive criticism worked.

There's never any reason to make it personal. Eric and Keith are very talented. I'm not trash talking anyone on the team. Just saying, using rainbow and plinky sounds is a choice, and at this point it feels like it's just applied to any game, regardless of the theme, and it feel tone deaf. Both to Godfather and the feedback people have been giving for years at this point.

I always thought Godfather 3 was just all the blooper reels from 1&2.

Background music should be the theme song from the movies. Seriously. Spice it up with some Axl playing it on guitar when things get exciting. Hell, if you're dead set on flute music, play the theme song on flute!

Replace the Ching/chang sounds with "switch hit confirmation sounds". If you need to know what this means, play some of the non jjp games and listen to the "satisfying" sound of a target getting hit. We don't need to feel like we're in a casino or Chuck E Cheese watching our kid play for tickets.

Callouts should be cuts from the movie, not the janitor you pulled into a sound room and told him to read from a phrase card real quick while you recorded it. If licensing got in the way, get a sound-alike.

Tone down the rainbow colors... more Red, white. Save the skittles show for attract or special occasions like multi ball. And yes, multi ball should be a special occasion lol.
