Trying to decide between GNRLE or JP2. Both I really like in their own ways but can only keep one.
Thoughts?
Thanks!

Didn't love GnR at first but it grew on me big time, been having a blast with it lately after fine tuning the flipper angles and powers. JP2 is one of the best, though. Depends on opportunity, I guess.
edit: So you have both and are trying to decide which to sell? Sell JP2 then. It hasn't been on the line for a while so there's demand + higher prices right now, but it will be run again in the future, probably a couple times at least. GnR's demand has cooled off now that they're pretty widely available.
I had a jp, just too tight and not as immersive as gnr. I think gnr will be here for quite some time.
It’s almost frustrating to me how I can not understand what people enjoy in GNR. I owned it for about two weeks and just did not like how it played at all. I do love the music though. Some people absolutely love GNR so it must just be a matter of preference.
On the other hand I absolutely love JP. I have a premium and my whole family enjoys it. It’s my wife and my kids’ favorite pin. DP is my personal favorite I have but JP is a fairly close second.
As a difference between the two, I just find the shots more satisfying in JP and I feel like I always know what I should be doing. With all the multi balls in GNR I struggled to understand what I was supposed to be going for and I was usually done after a game or two. Very possible the game really opens up when you get a great grasp of the rules but I just did not reach that level of motivation.
As an additional caveat I will say that I’m yet to find a JJP game I really like. Not saying they are bad but I just haven’t connected with the gameplay and feel of them yet.

This speaks volumes. Not even close gameplay wise but pretty and easy to play, in other words what is usually the case when comparing these 2 companies. For the average to just plain bad pinball players out there go JJP.

I could take that as an attack on my abilities , but I won't. I'm above avg but far from a tourney level player. Theme also won gnr over jp for me as well. Thx dude for your input. ( I know you hate being called dude)
I own both (GNRLE and JP Pro) and JP is definitely the better shooter.
However, for the overall experience and general fun factor...GNR wins for me hands down.
Full disclosure...I am an average to slightly above average player, JP theme is just kinda meh for me, I like GNR music and I love me some multiball.
Quoted from Navystan:Wow, I think you should keep GnR and sell JP2. You can always get it back later.
GnR is the best non-pinballer pinball of all time.
Fairly easy to keep the balls going, excellent music and best light show of all time. It’s really an excellent piece to have in the collection for family and friends

I was waiting for one of the Pinside JJP haters to comment with something like this. What a generalized negative comment to make. That's right, JJP buyers don't know pinball and they certainly are not good at it either. Get out of here with that garbage.
I'm glad myself and a majority of other Pinsiders can enjoy games from Stern and JJP, hell even own games from both companies (gasp!), instead of having a clear biased against one.

I'll enjoy a JJP game when they make something with a good theme that plays well. Just cause you own games from the company which you have a very "clear bias" against doesn't mean anything other than the fact that ur confused.
I traded a beautiful GnRLE for a JP premium.
I had GnR less than a year, before I couldn't even muster a mercy play on it.
JP is so much more fun. The rules are really engaging, providing a variety of fun challenges on any ball.
GnR is like playing tennis against a wall.
No matter how well you do, it always feels like you just got beaten by a wall.
