Need to change the poll to read "A few issues but 'trying' to deal with it". Only time will tell if our little fixes work long term. But until then, I am certainly not going to let these playfield issues stop me from enjoying my machine.

    Quoted from Eskaybee:

I’ve had my LE for 6 mos. and it just chipped last week. How long am I supposed to let it cure exactly?
My feelings and feedback for future and potential buyers. If you like a game with the pinball glass on (i.e. able to play it), buy a stern. If you like a game with the glass off (i.e. having to fix it once a month or more), buy a JJP. It’s that simple. Awesome games, but a bitch to maintain.

Wow, I'm waiting for someone to drop their machine off of a tall building. If you decide to take such drastic action, my recommendation would be to have cameras on it from every angle. You might make up for some of your loss with YouTube views. Oh, and make sure there's no one below. I guess my message is to those who are no longer able to enjoy rheir machine I get it, I am also very upset with the situation, but after a week or so and a few cover up fixes, I decided to throw it in the fck it bucket and start playing again. Guess what? It is still super fun to play! Try to enjoy what you have and realize that we are all in the same boat of disappointment. My fingers are still ctossed that JJP will come through in the end. Fingers crossed, but breath not held.

    Did you buy that?

Yes...Thought that I might need it some day. The cost came down to my distributor and I and he took care of me the best he could.

As I posted earlier, I'm not holding my breath that JJP will do the right thing to take care of us.

    Quoted from Lermods:

does this post unscrew or do you have to take the upper playfield out to get it out?

    It unscrews

I am just curious, have distros still been getting JJP orders or has it gone cold?

    #645 2 years ago

Well, so much for that. I did exactly what JJP recommended by placing washers over the affected areas. Last night we put in a solid 2 to 3 hours on the machine. I just checked to see how it was looking and a little to my surprise, the damage has already extended past the 3/4 inch washers. I was trying to be optimistic but damn, looks like it is only going to get worse.

I don't read through all the posts, so I need a little clarification here. Is or isn't JJP willing to buy your game back for what you paid for it? If so, what more can you ask from JJP? Why not take them up on that if you are no longer able to enjoy your game? Here is an ad for a machine in perfect condition... so far. Pending sale.
