Did this not all start with the small posts, that had a smaller footprint? In HEPs case would it not just hide it under the star if it did pool or dig in to the playfield? I am not trying trying to question his expertise on pins I fully concede he has probably forgotten more than I will ever know. Just curious if it will address the issue on smaller posts.

That drove me crazy in his interview, his whole attitude that adjusting something for a millimeter was just an unsolvable problem.

Are there really that many people that mad for a GnR that they will pay an extra 5K for one with a bad playfield. This whole thing just seems insane. It's hard to even imagine what I would do because I can't imagine going in on CE. I guess I would post it real quick and see if it sells like everyone suggests it will. I would give it a week if it hadn't sold I would take the money from JJP and never look back. I would also never buy anything from them ever again. I would probably buy one of their pins used in the future.
