I was looking for suggestions. Should I go with LCD or LED for my GnR? I know I don’t have to make a modification if I go with LED, but is that the only reason to go LED? Is there more ghosting with one vs the other?

It’s ultimately a personal preference thing.
Both look good, but I personally prefer LED for a couple reasons.
All of my machines are set to round pixels so they look pretty much like the original, only colorized. If this is what you are planning on going with, go LED.
If you are planning on trying different pixel setting or setting some of them to display in solid colors, then go LCD. Hence you have slightly more options with LCD.
One drawback to LCD is that if you are viewing it from an angle (spectator view) it fades in color, and from too far of an angle looks black. It does not affect a head on view (I.E. the player).
LED does not have this and in my opinion looks better and more traditional.
Thanks for your responses. Anyone else care to chime in with their experience with either LED or LCD Color DMDs?
