Not mine and I don't know anything of the condition, but thought it might be a good price:

I like how the add starts...."you are bidding"

When the hell did CL become eBay? What is wrong with these people? U wouldn't see people posting newspaper ads 20 years ago, "car for sale, start making offers, highest bidder gets the privelage of buying my car".

#5 7 years ago

Yeah, I noticed that ad too. Seems like a decent price. I don't know why I torture myself by constantly trolling CL/eBay when I'm unfortunately not even in the market for a pin at this moment!

Man, I do the same thing. I search CL, the marketplace, and ebay for great deals. When I find one, I say, "What a great deal!" And then I cry a little.

What was the price on it ?

He put it up for $2750 at 6:20 p.m. last night. I didn't notice it until about 10:00. I e-mailed him last night and once again this morning. He said that it sold this morning. I was bummed. I was a day late and a dollar short on a White Water in the Grand Rapids area that went for $2800. It sucks, but the more it happens to you, the less you care. It just shows that they're out there and when you finally get lucky by checking just at the right time, it will eventually be your day.

Get a smartphone Craigslist app. Notification within 10-15 minutes of posting max. Faster if you get a good refresh pop. Right tools for the job.

That is Sooo Cheat-n !! But my wife got the app for me on her cell.. Alot of competition ,,

#12 7 years ago

Yeah, you really see the competition when you call 10 minutes after it posted and he already has two buyers in front of you. The 4 hours later guys don't have a chance unless they get lucky.

Apps won't help you when someone posts it on an international forum. By the time it shows up on Pinside, it's too late.

But it works on Craigslist. Isn't that what we're talking about?
