What kind of glue is used to glue broken plastics back together?

This is for Drop A Card, Gtb 1971

The scigrip didn’t work for drop a card. What to try next? Regular model cement?

I held the pieces together on a wooden table while two songs played on PAndora. Probably at least six minutes. It seemed to be holding, but the next day - nothing.

I've had luck on GTB plastics using Methyl Ethyl Chloride to repair plastics. I do it from the back side and if you are neat enough, it doesn't bleed through. I think I put painters tape over the crack on the finished side, and it bled through. The last few I did I did not use tape and didn't have any real issue on the finished side. I flatten the plastics first. I have a very small needle point tip on a bottle that I put the ME in, glue it up and put the rest back into the can or it will evaporate quickly.
