I used to handle film a lot and I used cotton film handling gloves that may be what you are looking for. A search of "film handling gloves" on Amazon yields a lot of results. These inexpensive gloves don't leave anything on the things you touch, though over time they do get dirty and eventually need to be tossed.

I started wearing leather driving gloves in my basement when it was colder and realized they make great playfield glass handling gloves. I now use them every time I handle the glass, and it works pretty slick. And I feel badass every time I remove the glass, haha!

The cotton gloves have no grip so don’t work well for me

The Amazon ones are cheaper and get the job done. Just the right amount of grip without leaving fingerprints (which drive me bonkers). They keep my hands safe from little dings when working on things, too.

For routine taking glass off/on I just grab two microfibre cloths and grab the glass with the cloths between my fingers and glass. If you were going to be handling it more than that, I could see getting some kind of gloves, but I've never found the need.

I'd probably lean towards the cotton ones if I were so inclined, but I don't seem to get fingerprints on my glass when I remove it -

Most of them start sliding as soon as the lock bar is removed, so when it's about 2/3 of the way out I use my palms on the sides of the glass to slide it the rest of the way out and lean it against the machine next door - I don't really have to "grab" it -

Nobody uses suction cups? I have a bunch of European style terrariums and display cases, so I use them for everything, makes taking the glass off games easy and one handed, plus no fingerprints
Good one will set you back a bill but worth it in my opinion
