"It looks like a fun entertaining game, but the company is doing a horrible job marketing the product....my concern is that their another fly by night company that doesn't have the resources to actually manufacture the games...."

The subsequent posts respond to these issues. Valley-Dynamo, a very well-established coin-op manufacturer with roots going back to 1928, is handling the manufacturing. Valley-Dynamo is responsible for marketing and has already taken full-page ads in RePlay and Play Meter, plus showing the game (both variants) at the IAAPA show. They're making a prudently cautious roll-out.

    Quoted from dirtbag66:
"No DMD? No fourth pitch? No ability to steal bases? No card dispenser?"

In fairness, we should note that Dennis was trying to stick to an old design. The game very closely resembles Williams Pinch Hitter of 1959, but with more pitch choices.

I spoke to one of the principals of Gizmo today. He says Valley-Dynamo is still making them, but not really pushing the game. I think there has been a shake-up of National Sales Managers at Valley-Dynamo, possibly adding to their passivity. Asking distributors about it can't hurt.
