    Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:

A little over 4 months. One of the few versions on the west coast. The batting assembly just sheared off at the base due to extended play, so I reiterate my overall opinion on durability and reliability on this game as I stated above. Let Valley Dynamo work out the kinks both on hardware and software before private owners consider it an option for purchase.

Thanks for the update....well the good news is that its got extended play (thats my assumption)....hopefully their providing you the service you deserve

    Quoted from vireland:

If any locations want this kind of thing, we'll probably just get a Slugfest, which has proven reliability. But no one has ever asked for a pitch and bat. Ever.

Not sure what environment your games are in, but I bet it would do great in environments with both kids and adults.....

Hopefully someone can update us on the games... I noticed they were on the list at TPF....

Looks like there are 4 there, 2 of each, from the pics at the show.

Anyone visit this booth at TPF? Be great to get an update on game availability, pricing, etc....

Any updates on this? Anyone own one?

I agree. Any updates? I haven't seen any of these machines on location. How were sales figures on these? Are they still being made?

    #159 1 year ago

I see FlipNOut has them for $5299 plus shipping. Is that the average street price for them?

    #160 1 year ago

I can't imagine they're selling too many at that price.

I've had the Zombie version for 9 months or so. I don't personally play it a ton but it by far the most played game when I have people over. No issues with it so far.

Go to the Valley-Dynamo website. They have a list of distributors on their site.

    #163 1 year ago

I spoke to one of the principals of Gizmo today. He says Valley-Dynamo is still making them, but not really pushing the game. I think there has been a shake-up of National Sales Managers at Valley-Dynamo, possibly adding to their passivity. Asking distributors about it can't hurt.

I believe Greg Bone has one from SDTM. Maybe we can get them to do a review if anyone has his ear.

There are two on location in the Milwaukee area:
    Cleveland Pub
    Petro Truck Stop - Racine

I remember Dynamo's John Lewis picking up my boss & I in his 450SL at DFW. That's a two-seater. I squeezed in the storage area behind the seats. This was prior to the Valley merger. Way back in 1980. Dynamo, the king of US Foosball table sales was starting to dabble in video games.

We have them available at Flip N Out Pinball. Message me or give me a call.

And yes, we will be recording a "review" of sorts on it very soon. Greg loves the thing.

Surprised there are not already any in-depth gameplay reviews of this game. I’ve been super curious about these. Would love to see how this machine works. I haven’t seen one on location to play either. Been wanting to add a Slufest to my collection but having the NIB option for a pitch and bat has been tempting.

I thinking you played this you would really like it. I have some time on both versions and they work well. Personally I like the retro version better. The zombie call outs get old for my taste but I am not into zombies at all. Purple artwork looks great though.

They were breaking on location not long after they came out. Cheap construction from what I heard.
