A few months later IMVE was announced, I won't say I had anything to do was a coincidence but nonetheless glad Stern filled the need.
I had a conversation with Gary Stern a year prior to that about how he should re-run IM. He spent 20 minutes explaining how unlikely that would be... licensing issues, minimum runs, they would rather focus on new games, etc. I'd like to think that conversation helped make it happen, but I already had one by the IMVE announcement
Stern as a company rarely admits they take action on customer requests as such, but they definitely listen... GOT Premium is a rare example of direct action based on customer feedback, and I think both examples served them and their customers very well.
