Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:Me too! Went out and bought it the day after seeing them blow the roof off the Golden Bear in Huntington Beach CA back in ‘81 I think. Awesome band and what a show.
I haven’t thought about the Golden Bear in many years. I went there to see BB King in 83. Tiny intimate club and he was amazing
Quoted from hawkmoon:All fine music, however,Deric and the Dominoes,Lala,is the top spot! Then, and now!
I read both Patti and Eric's autobiographies. They have very different memories of how their affair started. I like how after Patti left George she wanted to marry Eric. Her father had passed so she asked her ex-husband George if he'd give her away at the wedding and he said GLADLY! Ok, he did walk her down the aisle and give her away, but I made up the "GLADLY" comment.
