Quoted from Gryszzz:This week it's been Mob Rules all day everyday. Not sure it's a perfect album, but Sign of the Southern Cross IS absolute PERFECTION.
» YouTube video
Sign of the southern cross. When I heard that song it was very late. On the radio. No one played sign of the southern cross during normal business hours. It was about 3 am.
Great song. I love it.
Excellent thread by the way. I need more good music like I need air.
I wanted to say the best most perfect album I have heard in a few years:
Primus and the chocolate factory. Seeing it live was amazing. The album is great to me. It tied my favorite movie to a concert or two I went to. The poster for my night is included. Including the immortal gene wilder.
Quoted from Methos:That is a great album. Saw him twice back in the day. I still spin In The Dark in my jukebox.
In the dark saw it live he opened for Queen I think.
I remember seeing the entire crowd of women just on his ass. I was about 12.
the album is very good. I'm gonna rock out lonely is the night in a minute.
A clever album too. Stroke.
I have just listened to this again. perfect to me. i had forgotten.
Genesis Seconds Out.
I heard all of these songs here first. astounding talent. I cant turn it off.
Quoted from flipper73:[quoted image]
Brothers in arms is a great example of a particular kind of album. To me.
I shunned the album. I was listening to early mettalica and Van halen, pretty much anything else.
Fast forward all these years and all these miles. Brothers in arms. Destroys me.
So far away.
Quoted from lpeters82:I'll see your "Bad" and raise you with "Even Worse".

PS: Seriously though, I do love Weird Al.
Weird al is truly unique.
Quoted from TheFamilyArcade:There some really good shit in here. Suck on this!
Owned the vinyl myself.
The album. Best songs: Angie, Respect, There Goes the Neighborhood, KKK, Did you see me. The whole record is really good.
Amy wine house back to black. It feels like she is singing to me.
I can’t find a better record in recent memory.
I even love rehab. Love the song. Love.
Quoted from gweempose:Did you watch that Amy Winehouse documentary. It was quite sad, but very well done. She was a huge talent.
I need to watch that. When I listened to back to Black I sort of fell in love with Amy wine house.
I knew her days were numbered though. Not how numbered exactly.
When I say I fell in love with her I don't mean personally or even physically. It was something else.
It is love, though. We don't exactly understand its power yet.
Blah blah blah , perfect album. Almost perfect, anyways.

Rust In Peace is a masterpiece.
I remember getting both the black album and rust in piece around the same exact time. I wanted the black album to be great, perhaps it is.
But rust in peace is a glaring speed metal tour de force. Possibly my favorite “speed metal”
Pretty big on peace sells too. Devils island...
Quoted from tullster:Iggy Pop can be hit or miss with me, but this one is outstanding. The King Biscuit release of the Live at the Channel Show in Boston 7/19/88. Great beginning to end.

Going to check this out now.
