Bally, 1991I finally got the motor up and running, and it runs great.
When I bought the game, the motor didn't work. Looked underneath the PF, ah, I see the problem clearly. The was no motor! Lol!
Problem:
The ramp is not working, but it is working in test mode, both up and down. But the ramp should drop when I have made the seltzer.
Anyone have any helpful suggestions?

I did a switch test, not with my finger, but with the ramp, and that was working. This was in switch test.

my gilligan ramp has the same problem…let the game warm up and play it ….it should start to work…also go into test and cycle the motor and the ramp up and down that always fixes my ramp problems

Thank you for all the pointers.
I solved it using all suggestions. The battery holder is corroded, ap I have to install a new one of the boards or go for NVRAM.
Went into test menu, ran the whole motor test. Went into ramp and opened and closed it several times. Then exited the test menu, and lo and behold, everything worked!
Now onto the cleaning and new rubbers, and I can finally play it.
