Is the high voltage line working? The little spring loaded peg in that gets pushed in when the cabinet door closes? That would disable all the solenoids if either it's broken or.. when testing you either pull it out (there's a decent) or hold it in to keep the high voltage on.

Yep that's the high voltage safety cut off.. i.e, when you open door it cuts off high voltage by default which would include all the solenoids. If the game noticed it closing/opening maybe it's fine.
